Masons, Miners and Scissors – Wild Bees of the Meadows

  • Date: 4 October 2024
  • Time: 7.30pm
  • Address: Jubilee Hall, Chagford, Newton Abbot TQ13 8DP

Ecologist John Walters last gave a fascinating talk on wild bees in 2019 and we thought it’s time to do one again, with a focus on how to create and enhance habitats that offer a variety of nesting sites.

Also, if you’ve ever wondered if honeybees are competing with wild pollinators for resources, Maisie Brett, a PhD researcher from Bristol University, will be sharing the findings of her cutting-edge research.

As ever, our talks are free, but donations are welcome to help cover the cost of running the event.

If you’d like to come, please reserve your place here
