How to Make a Sustainable Garden- Biodiversity for Beginners 3 June 2023

Located in the peaceful village of Broadhempston, near Totnes, The Sustainable Garden offers beginners’ courses on ecological and sustainable gardening and land-management techniques.

On our 3 June course we discuss how we made our successful garden wildflower meadow and how we manage our rough orchard grasslands and ancient hay meadow for maximum ecology and biodiversity.

Our wildflower meadow surrounds a nature pond and sits besides charming old cider apple orchards. It is a beautiful place to learn and be inspired.

ProperEdges is a small rural business run by Jeremy Weiss. Jeremy works for the Devon Rural Skills Trust as an instructor as well as teaching on hedge steeping courses for the Dartmoor Hill Farm Project. ProperEdges run hedge laying and scythe courses and offer one to one training.
